Literature Searching Workshop

Description:

Search questions come in all shapes and sizes and there’s no ‘1 size fits all’ approach to answering them effectively.

This peer-to-peer workshop will give you the opportunity to develop your searching skills through round-table group discussions to share practical tips and tricks, ‘go-to’ resources, useful keywords/search terms, and search filters you can take away with you to apply to your own searches and get the most from your search results.

This workshop is aimed at library staff who either carry out literature searches, or support users in carrying out literature searches across all aspects of health (public health, mental health, acute, primary care, commissioning, etc). Whether you’re new to literature searching, or want a refresher/confidence boost, this workshop is for you.
