NHS Library and Knowledge Services (LKS) maintain a list of secure and legitimate health and care knowledge and education websites which NHS Trusts are encouraged not to block. The latest version of the NHS Library and Knowledge Service Essential Sites List (updated April 2019) is available as an Excel file at http://www.libraryservices.nhs.uk/forlibrarystaff/information/technology.html

The team who maintain the Essential Sites List have drafted a template letter which LKS staff can use to circulate the list to their IT or Network teams.The template is on the For Information: Techonlogy page of the Library Services website.
