Facilitating Online Meetings – Virtual Training (6)
Facilitating Online Meetings – Virtual Training.
Diana Edmond from Bridgford Consultancy https://www.bridgfordconsultancy.co.uk/ will be running another 3 virtual classroom sessions on “Facilitation Online Meetings – techniques and tips”.
Meetings can be a challenge at the best of times. Facilitating virtual meetings brings another layer of challenges for the meeting leader. How can we meet our objectives, keep people engaged and make decisions, whilst staying efficient in terms of time and energy?
This half-day interactive virtual classroom draws on best practice from face to face meetings, providing techniques and tips for managing a successful meeting on-line.
Whilst encouraging participants to make best use of their platform i.e. audio involvement, use of chat, emojis, annotation tools and other functions that may be available, the trainer will not be providing advice on technical issues relating to scheduling and hosting a virtual meeting.
Each participant will need their own computer (not ipad or phone) and audio facility (phone or VOIP), a camera is useful but not essential.
This training is open to librarians working across the NHS in England; for example clinical, outreach and embedded librarians, LKS managers, and assistant librarians. Within this 3 hour session there will be different activities and a break.
