NoWAL / LIHNN Systematic Review Workshop

Description:

This interactive workshop on Systematic Review (SR) will be led by Michelle Maden from the University of Liverpool and will look at:

  • what an SR is
  • how an SR differs from a normal review
  • searching approaches to inform the 'traditional review' and also targeted approaches (e.g. cluster searching, theory searching, complex topic searching) for different types of SRs (realist, mixed-methods)
  • looking at guidance for conducting/reporting searches for SRs, scoping searches for SRs, standards (PRESS) and documenting the search process

Hands-on time will allow you to have a go at the different searching techniques.

Please note: You will need to bring a laptop or other device to allow you to participate in the hands-on element. You will need to login on your device using Eduroam.
