Leeds Public Health Resource Centre (PHRC) has offered short lunchtime seminars on a range of Public Health topics for many years. Historically the ‘Want to know more about’ (WTKMA) sessions were run face to face in the PHRC which presented a barrier to access for busy frontline staff and was made impossible by the recent pandemic. The sessions have now been developed to be delivered as webinars which have increased the number of places available for each session (from the previous limit of 25, up to 40+); improved accessibility; and we have also seen a reduction in non-attendance at the sessions. Between July – September 2020 the PHRC team delivered 6 WTKMA webinars which were attended by a combined total of 140 members of the Leeds health workforce.

In addition to attending these webinars live, the workforce now has the option to view a recording of each webinar on a new Leeds Public Health Training playlist www.bit.ly/LPHTfilms which has made it possible for an additional 1420 people to access the information since the live sessions took place.
